    Yeah, pretty much every residential broadband router uses NAT/PAT today out of necessity - the need to conserve of IPv4 address space leads ISP's to hand out 1 address at a time. The inherent advantage of using strict NAT/PAT outbound is that inbound connections of any kind (unless the user configures otherwise) are simply dropped outright.
