    Question Install from DOS Prompt

    Hello Everybody,

I have downloaded "ubuntu-9.04-desktop-i386.iso" and Fedora as well. I want to install any one in New Hard Disk. Since my laptop does Not boot from CD-ROM, I have to use Floopy disk to boot the system which gives me A:/ prompt. Is it possible to install linux from A:/ prompt? Please guide me.

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Naresh

    recommend "smart boot manager"
    floppy-based utility that renders the
    CD-ROM bootable

an alternative: with a network connection,
    debian installs from 3/4 floppies
