Kubuntu just installed, bunch of important questions

On my Gateway GT5658E with Phenom 9500, 3GB RAM, 1TB HDD (2x500), Radeon HD 2400XT, I have installed Kubuntu 9.10, and I want my windows bootloader back, and I know it's possible to have Kubuntu on it, I did it before. Should I reinstall windows 7? Once I get that finished, the questions will flow.

Using Super Grub Disk can restore a Windows Bootloader without reinstalling Windows. Not sure about Windows 7 but I know it works for Vista so it should work.

I know absolutely nothing about editing Windows Bootmanager to include KUbuntu 9.10 to its menu though.

For the next time, do not install GRUB in MBR else you have to re-install Windows Boot Loader again. Install GRUB in first sector of / ( or /boot, if any ) partition instead of MBR. Most of installer let you choose the location for GRUB Installation.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Ok, I figure out how to get into my windkws bootloader, but I have to choose the bottom choice in GRUB, and I would rather have my computer automatically boot to Vista when I turn it on, since Vista is my main OS

Will try reinstalling Seven, and report back when I'm finished.

There is no need to re-install Windows 7 for just changing Boot Order. There are a lot of tools available to do that.
