    bootloader is messed up

I'm running off the live cd right now. When i installed slackware on a separate partition, it worked fine, but when i went to boot up, the option to boot into ubuntu wasnt there. I checked my partitions and the ubuntu one is still there. ANY help will be greatly appreciated. If you need more info, just ask

I am not a slaxkware expert and not a lilo boot loader expert either. But if it was me. I would try one of 2 things.

    1. Mount the ubuntu partition and access /boot/grub/menu.lst and add Ubuntus menu to lilos (not sure where lilos /boot/lilo/menu.lst is in Slackware)

    2. Install Grub bootloader from Ubuntu and hopefully (again not sure, as I don't run Slackware) Ubuntus grub will add Slackware boot menu to grubs boot menu list file.

Hopefully someone that dualboots like you do with these 2 distros can elaborate better than I on what you need to do.And Howdy and Welcome to the forum.

Cool. Then you know what I'm talking about even though I don't know the exact steps to take to accomplish what you are trying to do. Keep us posted on what results you get as other members besides myself may learn something from your experiences. Good luck with it.
