    Firefox 3.5

Ok the latest Firefox that I have listed in Synaptic is 3.5 which I believe is Shiratoko? If I install it it will be listed as "shiratoko" on my system but I'm told you can "tweak" things so it lists as Firefox/ How do I do that?

And second question is... if I decide to install on of the development versions like 3.6 from direct frm Mozilla what is the correct way to install it? I dont want it as a second copy of FF along side the pressent one. Obviously not through Synaptic but so that I can remove it again properly if need be?

    Thanks

Enter about:config in the browser location bar, then enter useragent in the filter box, then right-click the general.useragent.extra.firefox entry and edit it accordingly replacing Shiretoko with Firefox.
