Welcome to the forums!

Try using the Ubuntu installation disk to reinstall GRUB to the MBR, or you can try using a SuperGRUB live disk to do the same thing.
Let us know how it goes.oz

I couldnt find the GRUB installation using the disk. I reinstalled Ubuntu, and now it's working.
My big problem now, is that I cant connect a wireless network. I dont know if the wireless network driver is installed. How do I find out - and how can I install it if its not?

Here's a HowTo that you can use just in case you need to restore GRUB from the Ubuntu install disk in the future:

it is most likely a firmware problem, your machine has the right driver installed and in use, but probably needs firmware.
post resultsCode:dmesg | grep -i firmware
