file ownership in Public network share

    Hi

I have a public folder where people from my network can freely view and edit files. The only problem I have is that any files put there by other people have 'nobody' set as owner and group. As such I don't have the necessary permissions to easily move the files around to my own folders.

So my question is; how can I make it so that any files placed in my public folder are automatically owned by me and given the same permissions as any other file in my home directory?

    Thanks in advance
