Hi, im new to linux, and to move to linux from windows, bugs me, one quastion... Or linux has possibilty to change / improve sound quality by having equalizer tool that will work not just on some custom audio player inside linux. but tool that stands before all sounds, to be able control sound quality of all PC. like then even youtube video will sound the way better as standard. For example: in windows many audio drivers like realtek have custom driver applications with 10band eq that gives you a chance finally improve sound quality for whole PC!

Now i use SRS WOW sandbox, witch one works as audio driver, and filters whole PC souns to give me clearity of sound. i use that few yars and i love it.

I would like to have something similar on linux, Ubuntu or other version, to change, equalize, add 3-D sound to whole PC sound output.

Is this possible to have in linux now?
