    freezes..

    I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 on IBM ThinkPad R50e laptop and sometimes I have freezes after which I may only turn off the pc from the button. If there is any command to check my pc health status or anything else please write. I'm newb in ubuntu, help to solve this problem please.
