help with Ubuntu 9.1 Resolution.
hey guys, i am a complete newbie with Ubuntu. my desktop that i am using has a Trident Microsystems Cyberblade a1 Video card, and there are no drivers on ubuntu for this and i am stuck with 800x600 reso. can anyone please help me be able to get anything bigger like 1024x720 or whatever please?! i read alot about changin xorg.config file but am completely lost with how to do all this. also read that "generic" driver vesa or whatever works, but still yet don't know what to do. please help. all is appreciated.
