    Full Disk Backup

I like to make a full-disk backup of my dual-boot WinXP/Linux hard drive and then transfer it to another HDD which I take with me (weekends) to use in another PC. I've been using Acronis with great success, but I have to go into WinXP in order to run this. Is there a program that will work as easily as Acronis for Linux? I'm currently using a Ubuntu version, PhoenixOS FlameHawk to be specific.

    Welcome to the forums!

I use the liveCD version of True Image and it works very well. Furthermore, it's actually based on Linux. If you are a licensed True Image user, you can download the liveCD version at the Acronis website. Otherwise, you could use Clonezilla.

Thanks for this tip. I will try a download now and post my result.
[Added this later:] Looked at the Acronis site and did not find anything I can use on Linux. Missing something? Also, tried to enter my Serial# and it says not a valid number. Funny, I can install using the number. Any idea what gives? I'll now look into Clonezilla.
