    Flash in Ubuntu 9.10

I run a dual boot system with Vista and Ubuntu 9.10 and I tried using Wine to run Macromedia Flash Pro 8 and it says to reinstall the software. I have Macromedia installed on my Vista partition and running programs from that into Ubuntu with Wine doesn't seem to really be working but Flash and Photoshop CS2 are my biggest priorities right now. Anyway to get it to run from the Vista partition? Keep in mind I'm still pretty new to Linux and only know a few basics right now.

As far as I know you cannot use Wine to run programs that are already installed in a Windows partition, you have to actually install the program in Linux using Wine. I have my doubts whether programs as complex as Flash & Photoshop will run under Wine but you can find out at the Wine home page, there is a compatability list there.
