I think it might be my laptop issue, I install virtualbox on my Windows machine and it works perfectly. I've recently installed Ubuntu 9.10 on my VAIO, how can I check that it's running smoothly and I'm not missing any components.
Thanks

Sorry,I can't understand your problem. this is my assumption, you have two OS windows and ubuntu. Virtualbox works fine with windows but virutal box installed in ubuntu is not working - is this correct?I install virtualbox on my Windows machine and it works perfectly. Sorry, I wasn't being specific. You are correct. Once I've installed Ubuntu on my laptop is not running smoothly as I expect. I've faced my problems with connecting to wireless network, playing videos, and virtualbox.

Now a error pops up when I try to click start in VirtualBox
"Virtualbox - error in suplibOsInit
Kernel driver not installed (rc=-190
The VirtualBox Linux kernel driver (vboxdrv) is either not loaded or there is a permission problem with /dev/vboxdrv. Please reinstall the kernel module by executing
'/etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup'
as root. Users of Ubuntu, Fedora or Mandriva should install the DKMS package first. This package keeps track of Linux kernel changes and recompiles the vboxdrv kernel module if necessary."
I installed the DKMS package and still have the error, please help
