very slow repos
Hi
Today I installed ubuntu 9.10. But I noticed that the ubuntu repos are very very slow. I tried the main repos, my country's repo, I also tried the best server option (in synaptic) but all kinds of repo are very slow to respond. Can anyone tell me fast repos or how can I fix this problem?

There can be many possibilities. because I'm getting decent speed from best chosen server.
There is lack of information of the problem.

As b2bwild said. Where are you located? It could be that the servers in your country just don't have enough bandwidth to handle the demand effeciently, and likewise the connections to other servers could be congested.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

I will try the Best Server option today again and will post the results.
BTW, I am in India.
