UBUNTU blank screen on Lenova G550

    Hi every one...

I am having a new Lenova G550 laptop i am trying to install UBUNTU on it when i try to select the option boot from live cd or to install directly, after the selection the screen goes blank.
I connected to the external monitor then i can see the screen and it got booted completely. This is happening only with UBUNTU not with any other linux like FEDORA, KNOPIX etc....
please some one help regarding the issue.........

What version of Ununtu is it?
    Exactly where screen goes black?

But first make sure disk is fine.
    Disk Check!
Check the md5 sum of downloaded iso.
    Burn it with medium speeds.
    Never make any misteaks.

Ubuntu is not configuring your Graphics Card and display settings correctly. Boot it up using External Monitor and execute this in Terminal
    Code:
sudo lspci | grep -i vga
    Post output here.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
