I tried to find solutions for two weeks. I read somewhere else that sony walman worked great with linux.. I went out and bought one. the e series. When i transfer using gnomad it says no jukebox found on the usb drive. also, when i tried to install the software using wine ... no luck.. says operating systems aren't compatible (something along those lines). CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME? IT SEEMS THAT MY MUSIC APPLICATIONS PICK UP THAT THERE'S AN IPOD, WALKMAN, EVEN A RCA PEARL AT ONE POINT IN TIME, AND DON'T REALLY PUT MUSIC ON THEM.

Use your package manager to search for and install gtkpod, which will in turn install libpod as a dependency. If you already have these installed, we'll try something else.
