    [SOLVED] installation problems

    i downloaded the iso and burned it onto a cd and then booted ubuntu from the cd, but when i get to the boot screen with "try and install later" and "install" and "check disc" options and when i try to select 1 of the options my computer freezes for about 2 minutes and i don't see a load screen at all

    edit: just something i thought was interesting when i used roxio to burn the cd it froze for about 2 minutes but when i used infrarecorder it was frozen forever

    Hi and Welcome !

    Post your machine's specs here. Which Graphics Card do you have?

    Have you verified MD5SUM of downloaded image? Try to burn it using Imgburn at lowest speed supported by CD/DVD Burner.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
