Not sure if I have the Latest Ubuntu (Karmic) kernel
Hello. I ran the uname command and it tells me my kernel is "2.6.31-16-generic"
But when I run Update Manager, a linux kernel shows up that appears to be 2.6.31.17.30
But when I click on the check-box, nothing happens (I can't highlight it for installation).
My question is, Do I have the latest kernel with 2.6.31-16?
I had to hold back the update "xserver-xorg-video-all" because of an intel video driver issue. (I reverted back to the Jaunty video driver by installing "xserver-xorg-viedo-intel-2.4) Could this be blocking me from further kernel updates?
Also, is there a website I can go to for checking out what the latest kernel is for Ubuntu?
take care.

2.6.31.17 appears to be a proposed update. I'm sure it will filter through to being an actual update in the not to distant future

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.
