You need to select "Specify partitions manually" and then direct the installer to install 9.10 on the partition(s) that now hold 8.04.

Alright - I did that, then clicked on the partition on which 8.04 is now, to edit it.

Sooo ... do I need to delete it, format, ...?

I hope to keep EVERYTHING, EXACTLY as it is now; just over-write 8.04...

    Thanks again there...

The installer should automatically format the partition that you direct it to use unless you tell it not to format that partition.
