Ok, is there a way to backup all of my Ubuntu configurations, and installs.
When i install Ubuntu, it's starting programs, and all of it's defaults is great, but I do a lot of configuring to get it the way I want, is there a way to save all the configurations, settings, and all the updates.

There are number of different backup type programs that you can use.
I personally like to create images of my partitions right after a fresh install and all is configured. If something should break, it only takes a few minutes to restore the images and be right back to where I started:
Drive Imaging | Linux App Finder
Clonezilla is one of several options for doing that.

Happy New Year !

I prefer PartImage for disk cloning. It creates compressed, bootable images.It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
