    Ubuntu 9.10 Resolution ?

    Hello guys im using an intel builtin Vga card i got a problem with resolution which is max here 800*600 i want to set it to 1024*768
    i aready did that using xandr and some help tips but the problem is
    everytime i restart i get to my dafult settings feeling like ubuntu discharge all my changes all fields even if i followed the steps of saving could some1 help me out ?

    hmm make it a lil simple how to save my edits using xandr in a guarnteed way :P

    Aren't you executing xandr with root privileges?

    Post the contents of /etc/X11/xorg.conf file here.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    well thx so much for replying but it was empty aready and i solved all of this installing a package from launchpad which solved the bug with intel
