Keyring message
I have upgraded a laptop to 9.04 (Jaunty) but I now have an annoying keyring window popping up asking for a password for connection to the wireless router. The keyring was set up when the laptop was running 8.04 (or possibly 7.10) but I managed to remove it some time ago. Now it has come back. How can I re-set the keyring or remove it?

Hi scutiform, I'm guessing you don't have access to the router anymore? or did u change the way you connect?

Heya scutiform,
You want to use a blank password, if memory serves. You can read about the process of doing it after the fact here.Aloof linux user #whatever.
I tested off the charts for MENSA. Unfortunately, it was off the wrong end of the chart.

The link from schwim worked perfectly. Under 9.04, the messages are not exactly as the blog, but it still gets rid of that annoying Keyring message. If, after you follow the instructions you have any problems, the original keyring file is in the deleted items folder and you can put it back. Thank you all
