Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum

I'm having a weird problem when attempting to install the CDT for the Eclipse IDE. I am able to get to the point of clicking "Finish" to install the new software, but Eclipse then closes completely. This also occurs when I am navigating menus and click "Cancel" or 'X'. Has anyone seen or dealt with this problem before?
