usb devices problem

Hi everyone,
i`m new to this forum and hoping i can get some help, i`ve looked thru 100s of other
peoples and can`t find a similar prob, anyway its this, my usb mouse keeps disconnecting, i`ve looked thru my logs, while watching my logs i found it only happened when i actually started moving my mouse, and yet other times usually after a few hours it goes ok and then bak to disconnecting, sometimes it goes of completely, so i have to unplug the mouse and plug back in,
thanks for any help in advance, i`m tryna learn about linux, but its a very steep learning curve.

I doubt if it's a sort of intrinsically Linux issue.

As you know if you put sort of "usb mouse keeps disconnecting" into google you get a vast number of things.

Why not just get a new PS/2 is it called mouse? Or you can get a PS/2-USB adaptor.
