Question I can't find my network on ubuntu

I have a dual OS computer with Windows 7 & Ubuntu. Windows 7 finds my network fine, but ubuntu doesn't find it at all. My network card is ndiswrapper compattable, but it just doesn't show up. I tried finding it in the terminal, but it did not detect it. How can I find it? What else could be wrong? Am I better off just creating a new network? How do I do that?

    Code:
    lspci
That will tell you whether or not the system sees it. From there you'll have to either compile and install the proper driver, or do the ndis song and dance. Which may or may not have done allready. I know back in the day when I did it, I always had to load the module inside of /etc/modprobe.conf. But its been like 4 years since then.
