I've got my powersaver set to blank the screen after a few minutes. Can I set this up so that a password is required to release it?...

I can be found either 40 miles west of Chicago, or in a galaxy far, far away.

There is a difference between using powersaver to blank the screen, and the screensaver. Set up your GUI to enable the screensaver as well, and enable the checkbox that tells it to lock the desktop, requiring you to enter your password before it will unlock it.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

Yes, I know I can use the screensaver and have it show a blank (black) screen, but the backlight remains on and does not completely darken the screen... I am playing with using Both at the same time, but wish I could do this with "finesse" as my assembly language prof liked to say.
