    reducing CPU utilization

I am using Ubuntu Netbook remix which has ATOM processor, The Xorg CPU utilization is very high when i work on browser. I know this is because browser runs on X window. Now my question is How to reduce the CPU utiliazation of Xorg and browser. The CPU utilization is taken while running the browser is
    In Atom processor : Xorg : 65-75 %
    browser : 30-45%
    But in Core2duo processor : Xorg : 8-15%
    browser : 5-10%
Now how to reduce Atom processor utilization should be reduced as core2duo processor. Please help me. Is it possible?
    Thanks in advance...

are you using desktop effects at all? If you are make sure you are using the right graphics driver and are not using software rendering for desktop effects which will cause CPU usage to spike

your comparison is apples to oranges, you are comparing a core 2 duo desktop processor to an atom netbook processor

I'm going to assume you have an intel graphics chipset, which has had problems with more recent versions of ubuntu. I have never used netbook remix, so I can't comment on desktop effects being on by default but I would assume they are not. Most likely this is a problem with the driver being used.

What is your graphics driver? Post result of this code:
    Code:
    lspci | grep -i vga

    This is the result
    Code:
    sharief@sharief-laptop:~$ lspci | grep -i vga
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
    sharief@sharief-laptop:~$
