Ipod manager to create playlists AND edit id3 tags?
i just started using ubuntu to manage my ipod. so far im happy with rythmbox other than two things. i cant create or edit playlists. i had playlists already on my ipod and in the order that i wanted them, but as soon as a opened them in rythmbox it rearranged them into alphabetical order by artist. i have tried to rearrange them back into the order that i wanted, but as soon as i disconnect my ipod they are back in alphabetical. also if i try to create a new playlist, it creates a playlist on my computer, not on my ipod. could i drag and drop that playlist onto the ipod?
the second issue is with id3tags. since all my music is on my ipod ONLY and not on the computer (i add songs manually, i never use sync) i cant edit the tags with easytag because the files are unaccessible. this is how i retag files...i copy the song from my ipod to my computer, then delete them from the ipod, then rename them in easytag, then put them back on the ipod. there has to be an easier way to do this!
