List of Internet Filters?
I was wondering if anyone knew of a good Internet filter to use on Ubuntu (Version 9.10) I am currently using Fox Filter, but this doesn't really get the job done. I have also installed Dans Guardian, and that doesn't even show up on the program list so it is useless to me. Are there any major internet filters that are available for Linux? (Ubuntu) We used to use Bluecoat K9 Web Filter when we were using Windows, but sadly they do not make a Linux version.
Your suggestions are appreciated!

Not familiar with filtering software, but I would recommend using a DNS service that offers content filtering. I know openDNS does, and other free DNS services as well.

Thanks again for the help, OpenDNS does the job well!
Now I can finally get rid of Fox Filter and all of it's nonsense!

Guys, this thread is well over two years old so closing, but feel free to start a fresh thread if any of you are having problems with Linux.
Thank you.oz
