Can't resume after suspend
Hello,
I recently upgraded to a Dell Inspiron 1545. I installed Ubuntu simply b/c Mandriva would not work 'out of the box'. I am a long time Mandriva user and supporter, but I've heard so many good things about Ubuntu that I thought I'd give it a try.
All in all, I'm quite impressed. Nearly everything just 'works'! Linux has sure come along way since I first used Red Hat 4!!
Anyway, the suspend function does not work at all. Regardless of whether I suspend to ram or disk, I cannot awake the system. A hard reset is required every time. These are both features I would like to have. Can anyone offer some assistance?Registered Linux user #346571
