How do I change the size of the window borders in Openbox. I find great difficulty in getting my pointer to 'catch' the window border to resize the window.
Thanks......

I'm not familiar with that window manager, but usually if you right-click on the desktop somewhere (not in a window), you should hopefully get a menu of options, possibly including something to set preferences, configure the desktop, etc.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
Just remember, Semper Gumbi - always be flexible!

Thanks for the attempt Rubberman but, unfortunately that doesn't work within the Crunchbang environment. I can get in to the GUI editor but, there is not an option for the window borders that I can find.

Border width is defined by the theme you are using. Presumably, you could edit the themerc file and change the width value, though I've never looked into doing this.
Theme files are usually in /usr/share/themes or ~/.themes. Within the theme's directory, there will somewhere be a file named themerc which defines border width among numerous other values and options.

Once again thanks to Rubberman for the Openbox menu editing insight. I had to edit the rc file as well but, I now have the path set and the latest version of Firefox working.
Thanks reed9 for the suggestion about hacking the themerc file but, this does not compute. the reason I say this is because the themerc file is individual to all themes. It I was to edit the themerc file in one theme (should this actually effect the border width of the wondows) then I would have to do this for any theme I wanted to use. I presume that the theme builders use a generic width... aha!!! the light has just switched on. If this width is generic and the theme builders have it set to the original Openbox default width (which is very small) then yes that might just do it. Now to try to hack a theme file. Never done it before, should be interesting...
