Ubuntu wont install w/o cd? :(
Hi all, i downloaded the ubuntu netbook remix for my netbook and it downlaoded as a .iso format and since my netbook doesnt have a cd rom i downloaded slysofts virtual cdr software and mounted it to try it. Sadly windows gives me an error and says it can not load up the menu. Yet when i put it inside of my cdr drive on my notebook it loads up the menu. The copy i burned for my notebook works fine but the source files are taken from the same .iso file. so im wondering will virtual cdr drives just not work with certain cds or something? and if so why.
i loaded it up for fun last night on the cd i burned and the graphical interface was awesome lol. it was a bit slow but i was running it from the cd so it can only load as fast as the cdr can process lol. but even at that speed it seemed to be the speed windows was running at in light mode LOL.
please any help with this issue would be great. i dotn wanna fork out the money and go buy an external cdr drive just to install an OS but at this point i may have to lol. is there another way to install it? please help me lol.

Unetbootin worked great thank you
i have it installed but now my windows partion is messed up and its giving me the blue screen of death lol. im pretty sure its a hardware thing as i did use a flash drive to install it and changed the config in my bios to start from external drives windows probably recognized it as a new piece of hardware and once i removed it
lol *sigh lol.. oh well i have my ubuntu installed anyway lol. thanks again for the help
