Since it is Windows only software, it won't work on Linux unless it will work with WINE:
WineHQ - Run Windows applications on Linux, BSD, Solaris and Mac OS X

Thanks for the info... I've not heard of it and when I searched for Photo Stacker, the search results took me to some Windows software site.immix photo stacker?

i no dont no what yum is ,i was just wondering if any 1 has installed it,it does work ,but do not want to go round wine ,cheers oz

Yes, yum works but I wouldn't recommend trying to install it on Ubuntu if that's the distribution that you are using, as it was written for Fedora and Red Hat based distributions. APT (or Synaptic) works better with Ubuntu and Debian based distributions and it's probably already installed if you are running Ubuntu.yum???
