Gstreamer0.10 - lame, where to get?
OK two questions:
Since installing Karmic I haven't done any CD ripping to my mp3 player. Thought I at least set it up this morning. First thing I noticed is that Audio CD Extractor isn't included by default. Fine no problem I can add it... I presume I need to add it before I can rip CD's in Rythmbox?
But I need to install "gstreamer0.10-lame" in order to encode to mp3. Is that correct?
And if thats the case it's not showing up in Synaptic. I presume I need to add repository so which one/how?
(medibuntu doesnt seem to list it)
ThanksUbuntu Lucid 10.10

Have you enabled multiverse and universe sources? Check sources in Synaptic. Make sure to click Reload after applying changes.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
