    post more information about the problem so we can help you fix it

    we need to know how you are connecting to the internet, wired or wireless?

    usb, built into mother board? what version of ubuntu are you using?

    Open terminal, post these codes
    Code:
    lsusb
    lspci
    ifconfig -a
