packardbell(laptop)-ubuntu bios problem
there was a problem my packardbell laptop it was freezing frequently, by the help of Rubberman and devils casper, we consantrated on graphic card's driver it seemed that when i change configuration file it worked, but now it continues to freezing not frequently but rarely, especially when i use compiz (the funny 3D plugin).
then i looked dmesg and i saw lines that includes some corruption and error messages like:
- Phoenix BIOS detected: BIOS may corrupt low RAM, working around it.
- Fast TSC calibration failed
- Clocksource tsc unstable (delta = -292143059 ns)
- end_request: I/O error, dev sr0, sector 0
- Buffer I/O error on device sr0, logical block 0
- end_request: I/O error, dev sr0, sector 0
is there a hardware problem?
I am posting the dmesg file also...
