    Ubuntu 9.04 wireless help

    I just installed ubuntu 9.04 onto a ibm thinkpad t40, everything is fine and will connect through wired network. when it shows the wireless connections . it shows wireless networks and the connection strength but isnt in bold and i can not select the networks. can anyone help? the networks are encrypted as well

    You might want to post the outputs of the commands suggested in sticky in our wireless section of the forums.

    Otherwise, you may want to make a fresh reinstall and do a complete update, if your time still permits.
