    Welcome to the forums!

    Most GUI burning apps such as Brasero and K3b have an option for it in their toolbar. Otherwise, you can do it from the command line if you have dvd+rw-tools installed by issuing the following command:

    sudo dvd+rw-format -force /dev/dvd
    ...change the device name as needed for your own setup.
