problem in downloading ubuntu 9.10
I am facing problem in downloading Ubuntu 9.10 . the download stops before getting completed. i am downloading it from Ubuntu home page.Please suggest some solution. I have tried many times,it is a 689MB iso type file.

Hi psu,
try to download from another site. You can try another county from the list offered on the Ubuntu page. Or try Bittorrent. Tried to send you a link but am not yet allowed to do so. So here the encrypted link

I assume the file you try to download is corrupted. Another location would help. The problem with Bittorrent might be that also there, corrupted files are "offered" as others may have the same issue.

Try any other Server and if you can wait for few days, go for new version 10.04. It is scheduled to be released on April 29th.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

You can getubuntu in many other ways: Get Ubuntu - Download, request a CD, or buy on CD/DVD | Ubuntu
Or use, wget to download which is more reliable, and you can also resume a stopped download. Refer: The Ultimate Wget Download Guide With 15 Awesome Examples
