Wireless Printing using CUPS
I'm doing work at a home office that uses all Ubuntu computers. They have wireless printing setup on a few computers using CUPS. One of the computer's wireless printing isn't working. could someone please help me with getting this set up? Is this something really basic that most people would understand how to do?

The information you provide is a bit rare. I believe you have a wireless access point and the printer is somehow connected to that. In that case you need to joiun that Aaccess Point and then use CUPS to print. Is the issue how to get access wireless? or how to install a printer fopr CUPS?

the printer was already setup once. The laptops wireless functionality is fine. I just can't figure out how to get the cups web interface @ xxx.xxx.xxx:631 to do anything.

I don't know if I'm giving you the type info you need but I had an instance just yesterday that seems similar. A friend with an Ubuntu laptop came into my wireless lan wanting to print to my CRUX cups server. Problem was, his machine refused to find it through its Ubuntu printing utility as my machines had. The way I worked around it was to copy the printer address from one of the print capable machines and simply enter it into the laptop's cups configuration utility at:
Everything then worked. The address I copied over was [similar to]:Code:http://localhost:631
Hope this helps...Code:ipp://10.0.0.5:631/printers/HP_OfficeJet_V40xi_USB_MX27HG506RAS_HPLIP
