    Help with Windows 7?

I am running Windows 7 on an HP laptop. I recently used Wubi to run Dual OS with Ubuntu. Everything is working fine, Ubuntu is great, but I am somewhat of a newbie and want to know: Is there any way that I can transfer, or share, my windows 7 files (music, pictures, etc) in Ubuntu? I can't seem to figure it out? Please help.

Do you put those files in My Documents? If yes, I suggest you to move it to drive D. You can access files in Windows' file system (drive C) or drive D from Ubuntu, but I haven't found the way to access the files stored in My Documents and Desktop.

as far as i know, the general idea is to :
    1. detect your windows7 partition in your ubuntu
    2. mount it

But the challenge is, as windows7 is using NTFS file system, in Ubuntu you'll have to mount it with NTFS option. I install ntfsmount in my RHEL 5, but i don't have any idea in Ubuntu. Mr Google will help you in that part..!
About "My Documents and Desktop folders", in Windows7 they put it in folder C:\Users\yourusername.. slightly different path from the previous Windows..
    hope this helps..!

    Ask microsoft

If you want to share your ubuntu files with windows 7, use samba.

And you may try to figure out why you have a C folder on the left of your file browser.
I know, windows make us stupid.

    Windows 7 and ubuntu what?

PS: Sorry, too late for me. Welcome to ubuntu

    Regards
    Luis
