Karmic Koala and gtkpod
Heyo,
A couple of months ago I was running windows xp (cue collective groan) and I got hit with a nasty trojan. Was able to get in to back up some of my files, but wasn't able to get everything. Now I'm running Ubuntu and loving it, but realized the other day all my music was on my iPod. I've been using gtkpod to manage my files on the iPod, but this is the first time I've tried to put the files from the iPod onto my hard drive. They switched over fine except that they are all named incorrectly. As in, they all have random alphanumeric combo names. When I check out the properties, the correct file name is under "audio" but the file name under basic is wonky. Does anyone know any way to get them all named without having to actually individually listen to and enter each one?
TIA
Nikki
