[SOLVED] Basic question...folders in places menu

OK I should know how to do this but I cant find it so please someone tell me..

I left a friend playing with my PC and after she was done there are several extra folders now included at the bottom of the pull down places menu. How do I remove these again?

    Thanks

Are you referring to the Places menu that resides in the panel that runs across the top of the screen? if so, what folders are they?

Look in your /home folder for the hidden .gtk-bookmarks file because I think they will be listed there. You might also be able to edit them by going to Nautilus and clicking Bookmarks, then Edit Bookmarks.

    Hope it works.

Yes thanks! Nautilus removed them just fine. I knew there had to be a simple answer to this
