I had a similar problem with most games under Wine. The solution in my case was to not run the games from the Wine menu but to "Browse the C drive" and run the executable directly. You may need to right click the program and select open with other program and select Wine.

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

    dual boot

I have a minimal vista system dual booted, just to play poker on.

I found wine to be pretty poor with resolutions etc using poker software. The dual boot seems like a good solution (doing it for 3 years on Full Tilt and Poker Stars) and you don't have to worry about Wine messing up at the wrong time.

Good luck at the table, and keep up the pressure for native Linux poker.

    nautilus ~/.wine/drive_c

typed that in the terminal...it took me to yadah yadda /wine/c drive, and fulltilt wasnt in there...so...i put it in there...and then i extracted it, nothings happening still.
