    [SOLVED] Help me please with Ati Propriate drivers...

    Well as I understood some ATI old cards don't work on Ubuntu in games because of 3d accelerators etc... If anybody of reading this post is able to help please. Big thank you! my lspci output is: VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RC410 [Radeon Xpress 200M]

    Which version of Ubuntu are you using? Have you checked Hardware Driver option in System - Administration menu?
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    well no need more thanks. ive installed debian lenny and propriate drivers, dunno why but debian was always better than ubuntu in installing processes, maybe it harder but u know on debian i can something.

    Debian Lenny is really a fine distro and I am using it in a few servers. Rock solid and easy to configure.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
