I would like to know how to add proxy ip addrees through terminal..
I have tried adding it through System->prefrences->network proxy...
After adding through GUI a file apt.conf gets ...

Adding network proxy ip trhough terminal
Hi,
I would like to know how to add proxy ip addrees through terminal..
I have tried adding it through System->prefrences->network proxy...
After adding through GUI a file apt.conf gets generated under /etc/apt/...
But on that file only the proxy configuration settings are shown..but the entries what i entered in th eignore list is not showing in that file...so i woul like to know how to enter the ignore host entries through terminal.....
