Hi, I'm new in Ubuntu (10.04). I've read the last posts about reconfiguring video card to 1024x768". I just can't edit xorg.conf. It doesn't exist. Please, help me....

    Hello and Welcome.
    You may need to create one, if it doesn't exist. You can boot up from any LiveCD and copy that xorg.conf to the hard drive or you can check out this link to run Xorg -configure.

    Thanks Mike Tbob. However, I can't copy my xorg.conf file in X11.

    You must have root privileges to do that.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
