Upgrade and cannot use HP Photosmart Premium anymore

I upgraded from 9.4 to latest version of Ubuntu. Now I cannot connect wireless printer. States I do not have the required packages. I have loaded about everything zI can find relating to Bluetooth and it still will not connect. I have a Linksys router. I would appreciate any help which I can get. Also, in my System (both preferences and administrative) I can no longer find the "Printer" section.

Don't know why you are having this problem, though there are very significant differences between 9.04 and 10.04. I am running 9.04 on 3 laptops right now and don't plan on upgrading for some time yet, though I might on one backup system just to see what breaks... In any case, this is a good example of why one should ALWAYS make a system image backup to external drive before making such extensive changes on ones system(s). Things break - that is the nature of computer upgrades. If you are not prepared to revert to your previous installation, then I think that you are SOL is a good expression to use...

So, my advice is to backup your user data, reinstall 9.04 and your applications from scratch, reinstall your user data, and start by running 10.04 in a virtual machine first so you know what to expect.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
