    Statistics software for Ubuntu

    Hi everyone.
    I am new to Linux but I am quite motivated to leave Windows environment. I've installed Ubuntu 10.04 on my laptop and I've found almost everything I need for my activities. However, I encountered a problem very soon.
    I am a biology researcher and I very often use statistics softwares such as Sigmastat and Statistica 7.
    I have tried to look for statistics packages under Linux but I didn't find anything suitable for my needs (descriptive statistics, t-tests for independent and dependent samples, Mann-Whitney's, Wilcoxon's, ANOVAs, correlation analysis etc).
    Can anyone help me in my search? Thank You so much in advance.

    Regards.

    My preference goes to the R Project as it is totally scriptable and it is in Mandriva's repos. Don't expect a GUI with the R project however.

    0 + 1 = 1 != 2 <> 3 != 4 ...
    Until the camel can pass though the eye of the needle.

    It looks like SOFA could make the job

    It looks like SOFA could make the job but I've just realized that the software lacks very important features such as repeated measures-based ANOVA analysis.
