    [SOLVED] Moving Files Into Directories

I downloaded some backgrounds from Gnome Art and am having trouble moving them to the backgrounds folder. I've been trying this:

    sudo mv desktop <filename> usr/share/backgrounds

I moved to the desktop to make it easier. Im getting the following error:

mv: target `usr/share/backgrounds' is not a directory

What am I doing wrong here?

    Solved with the following.

    'gksu nautilus'

I know I didn't have to go through all that to move those files. I could have clicked 'Add' at the bottom of the Appearence/Backgtounds tab, but I must familiarize myself with terminal commands.
